All you had to do was hashtag and mention the company in your photo on Instagram.
A few weeks later, after having completely forgotten about it, I get a message saying Ay up you’ve won!
I spoke to a wonderful woman, Helen, and I asked, ‘What is the prize?’ - I am now £500 richer on Amazon!!
I was asked to print off the voucher and photograph myself with it and write a bit about myself and what I’ll do with the money.
I wrote -
I’d never imagine I would win! The photo is from our university trip to Antwerp, it was such a visually inspiring city with so much to capture. I’d like to thank University of Gloucestershire Illustration lecturers for letting us have so many opportunities to travel abroad.
I don’t quite know what I’ll use the money for, I’m making a wish list! So far I have a good set of headphones and art materials to help me in my final year at uni. I didn’t realise Amazon sold so many things so I’ll be going through all the departments.

The winning image at first makes you think quite 'what is this?' Then as you study the image you get a real treat of graphical lines and shades of light as you discover how the scene is made up, giving you a great sense of satisfaction now that you can see what is in the image and how well it is constructed. A superb winner.”
